John Hutchinson

I'm a retired Professor Emeritis from the College of New Jersey, where I taught for 32 years in the Department of Technological Studies within the School of Engineering.

I earned a PhD from the Pennsylvania State University in 1976 in Vocational Industrial Education, with an emphasis on educational research and statistics. I hold a private pilot license and an amateur radio General Class license (N2IFV). My wife Pat and I have been married for just over 50 years. Pat holds a PhD from New York University in Design and Technology Education. She is a Fulbright Scholar and an incredible artist. Here is her website: pahdesign.net!

I have many interests, including electronics, woodworking and design. I firmly believe that the more projects I have the happier I am. I am drawn to almost any kind of technical tools, equipment and learning. If I had more room in my shop I would have more tools! Pat and I live at the New Jersey shore and have been actively involved in our lovely community.
